For the real definition of a 'hidden gem', look no further than Gowran Park - it really doesn't get much better. A wonderful golf course set in traditional parkland of the old Annaly Estate in the midst of historical Co. Kilkenny. This par 71, 18 hole championship golf course provides an exciting playing experience for golfers of all abilities. Superbly laid out with plenty of interesting features from tree-lined fairways, superb greens and various water hazards, lakes & streams, it is undoubtedly one of the best courses in the region. No trip to the South-East is complete without paying us a visit. Our clubhouse, with stunning views of the course, against the spectacular backdrop of Mount Leinster, offers full restaurant and bar facilities in a relaxed atmosphere.

Gowran Park Golf Club Pro Shop

Our Golf Shop is located in the main Reception area and is ideal for picking up some golfing essentials – golf balls, tees, gloves hats, drinks & confectionary. We are open 7 days a week for all bookings and membership enquiries. Golf buggies are booked through our golf shop and it is advised to book in advance.

Gowran Park Golf Club Clubhouse Restaurant & Bar 

The Clubhouse at Gowran Park literally offers a view to dine for. Be it a morning coffee with friends, Sunday lunch with the family or a bite after a round of golf, the Clubhouse at Gowran Park is the ideal location. It is situated on the top floor of the grandstand overlooking the golf course and winning post plus panoramic views of the Blackstairs Mountains and Mount Leinster.

The Golf Course

18 holes | Par 71 | 5,784 metres

In 2001, Gowran Park, in County Kilkenny developed this unique 18 hole championship golf golf course to compliment its renowned race meetings. The course meanders in and around 130 acres of magnificent parkland with 5 holes within the racecourse boundary and the remainder in the mature woodland and lake settings of the old Annaly Estate.
